Reflection #1

Art is a variety of different things. It is not only around us as natural art but is also portrayed in man made creations. Anyone is capable of creating art. The tricky thing is that many times it is only considered art by the creator. Art doesn't look the same to two people. I think that any one piece of art will be interpreted a million ways, which is fine, even encouraged. To me art is anything that i can connect to emotionally and visibly. Anything that makes me feel hope, joy, anger etc just by looking at it or anything that when i see it i can loose myself in. Art created by man is basically the creative expression of our minds. Its whatever we can think up and then share with others. Natural art is everything around us that is visible. I think the most ponderous and incredible art comes in this natural art we encounter in our world. Art can be whatever you want it to be, you just can't rely on the rest of the world to agree with or support you. Art lives in the individual.
